Claude SOP Writer Plugin

Claude-SOP-Writer-Plugin is a project-scoped plugin for Claude Code that supports the full workflow of writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and decision flowcharts, from initial scaffolding through to printable PDF output. It provides six skills: new-sop and import-to-sop for creating and restructuring SOPs from templates such as first-aid, emergency, household-procedure, troubleshooting-flow, and recipe-method; new-flowchart for generating Mermaid or D2 decision diagrams wrapped in Typst; compile for rendering documents; bundle-binder for combining SOPs into a single PDF with a cover page, table of contents, and page numbers; and bump-revision for updating version and revision metadata across documents and recompiling them. The plugin operates on the current project directory rather than a global store, and it relies on external tools including the Typst compiler, the Mermaid CLI, D2, and qpdf or pdfunite.

The project is written primarily in Typst and is designed around a predictable folder layout with separate directories for SOP sources, flowchart sources, compiled output, and optional templates and binder configuration in binders.yaml. Because the plugin does not enforce structure, it can be added to any documentation repository. It is distributed under the MIT license.
